Position Overview: This role is dedicated to providing essential tools and support to production while ensuring adherence to quality and cost standards. Responsibilities encompass developing processes grounded in engineering principles, complying with manufacturing protocols, and offering assistance to engineers as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and advocating for Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Assisting in the establishment of Lean Manufacturing criteria
- Creating processes and procedures aimed at enhancing quality and reducing costs
- Supervising the implementation of new production lines
- Ensuring adherence to established procedures and regulations
- Training team leaders on new methodologies
- Preparing Engineering Change Orders
- Conducting Corrective and Preventative Action tasks
Qualifications:
- Relevant Associate's degree or a suitable combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with FDA, cGMP principles, and ISO standards
- Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft software
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in the English language
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in engineering or manufacturing within the medical device sector
- Experience with silicone molding processes
- Expertise in systematic problem-solving techniques
- Background in a Contract Manufacturing setting
