The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a crucial role in managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility. This position is tasked with ensuring accurate data entry, order verification, and the meticulous comparison of loaded products against customer orders for all incoming and outgoing shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving Duties:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for entering all data related to inbound shipments into the warehouse management system. This includes generating pallet labels and summaries for verification by the checker. Interaction with truck drivers is essential, as this role involves checking drivers in and out of the appointment system for outbound shipments. Additionally, the clerk will prepare manifests and print bills of lading for driver signatures before the freight leaves the facility.

Work Schedule:

Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional flexibility required for weekend work once a month.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk position should possess familiarity with personal computers, experience in data entry, and a keen attention to detail. Given the fast-paced nature of the environment, the ability to perform well under pressure is highly valued.
