Position Overview

The Project Development Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing designated client projects from the moment a purchase order is received through the stages of process development, validation, and production. The role also involves identifying risks, leading problem-solving initiatives, formulating solutions, handling change requests, and ensuring effective communication between clients and various internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects with a focus on timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication among stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with relevant experience.
  • A minimum of three years of practical engineering experience.
  • At least three years of proven project management experience.
  • Three years of validation experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of resins and other materials.
  • Familiarity with precision manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in injection molding and tooling.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software and understanding of injection mold tooling design.
  • Ability to read and interpret part drawings.
  • Knowledge of metrology and physical testing data interpretation.
  • Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of ISO13485 standards and requirements.
  • Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) analysis.
