Front Desk Representative

About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling reservations, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Book guest reservations and coordinate with the reservation center
- Register guests into the hotel in a prompt and courteous manner, using up-selling techniques to maximize room rates
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- Handle confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
- Answer and route calls as appropriate, taking guest messages with accuracy
- Resolve minor guest complaints to the satisfaction of the customer, informing the supervisor of major problems or complaints
- Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints in a friendly manner, taking appropriate action and following up to ensure guest satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Good understanding of procedures and practices in the hospitality industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Good leadership and training abilities
