This position offers a chance to be part of a supportive and resilient team comprising 18 physicians and four advanced practice providers (APPs). The collaborative environment fosters close relationships with hospital staff and various departments, ensuring high-quality patient care.
The facility is a well-equipped community hospital with 197 beds and excellent subspecialty support. As a member of the hospitalist team, you will engage in patient rounds, admissions, and discharges, participating in daily multidisciplinary discussions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing geographic rounding without the requirement for procedures.
- Being part of the rapid response and code team, with certification in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support.
- Attending monthly team meetings to stay updated on medical advancements and hospital developments.
Our schedule operates on a week on/week off basis, with flexibility for alternative arrangements. We utilize Cerner and Dragon for dictation, alongside our internal informatics platform.
Compensation is competitive at $170,000 annually based on a 182-day shift schedule, with additional productivity incentives for extra shifts worked. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, a 401k plan with matching contributions, paid medical malpractice, and an annual CME allowance.
