Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Internal Medicine team at UHS Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY. This is a full-time opportunity to provide primary care to patients in a busy, out-patient setting.
Responsibilities- Provide primary care to patients, collaborating with and under the direction of physicians in the clinic, following established standards and practices.
- Help with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations.
- Conduct physicals, order tests and serve as a patient's primary healthcare provider.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
- Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse License and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) certification.
- Current NYS Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) license and certification with New York State Education Department.
- Documentation of current CPR certification required within one (1) week of hire, with maintenance of current CPR certification during employment.
All work is performed in offices and patient examination rooms that require working in close quarters with other employees and patients. The offices are air conditioned/heated. Travel to other UHS Physician Practice locations may be necessary.
BenefitsThis position is benefits eligible. Salary Range: $124,000- $145,800 Annually.
