As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping our residents achieve optimal physical function and facilitating the achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen and Evaluate Residents: Conduct thorough assessments to determine the need for Speech, Language, or Swallowing Therapy.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create individualized treatment programs with consultation to facility staff in areas of Speech Therapy.
  • Provide Results and Objectives: Communicate evaluation results and treatment objectives to caregivers, family members, and residents.
  • Complete Documentation: Ensure all required documentation is completed within the designated timeframe.
  • Monitor Progress and Adjust Treatment: Continuously monitor resident response to treatment and alter treatment plans as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university and licensure accordingly.
  • Experience: Previous experience in long-term care preferred, but not required.
