Parking Operations Manager

A Parking Operations Manager at AEG will be responsible for the event day supervision and management of our parking & transportation operations on event days. This role will be a part-time and event-based position, reporting directly to the Manager of Parking.

The successful candidate will be responsible for observing, reporting, and carrying out event day procedures set forth by the Parking Manager. This includes inspecting garage and parking lots several times throughout the day, working closely with the parking manager to ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all guests, and assisting the manager with event day operations of garage, parking lots, and traffic flow.

The Parking Operations Manager will also be responsible for operating and monitoring parking systems in our lots, assisting the manager with the enforcement of employee parking programs, and ensuring event day checklists are followed and completed for the entirety of the event.

Additionally, this role will involve ensuring the campus is set up and lots are ready for events, reporting traffic incidents in lots to the manager, performing traffic material/supply inventory along with parking operations, and performing inventory management.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of parking best practices, the ability to anticipate problems and implement immediate corrective action, knowledge of safety regulations, and the ability to lead and give clear and concise direction.

This role will pay an estimated hourly rate of $21.50 to $22.50, with benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Day Operations: Inspect garage and parking lots several times throughout the day, work closely with the parking manager to ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all guests, and assist the manager with event day operations of garage, parking lots, and traffic flow.
  • Parking Systems Management: Operate and monitor parking systems in our lots.
  • Employee Parking Program: Assist the manager with the enforcement of employee parking programs.
  • Event Checklists: Ensure event day checklists are followed and completed for the entirety of the event.
  • Campus Setup: Ensure the campus is set up and lots are ready for events.
  • Traffic Incident Reporting: Report traffic incidents in lots to the manager.
  • Inventory Management: Perform traffic material/supply inventory along with parking operations and perform inventory management.

  • Parking Best Practices: Working knowledge of parking best practices.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate problems and implement immediate corrective action.
  • Safety Regulations: Knowledge of safety regulations.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and give clear and concise direction.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
