Parking Management Services is a rapidly growing company that specializes in valet parking services for 5-star hotels, resorts, hospitals, restaurants, and special events. With a mission to build strong relationships with clients through the highest standards of customer service, we are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Valet Parking Team Lead.



About the Job

This is a competitive hourly wage ranging from $14 to $20+ (average rate of base pay, plus tips and potential bonuses) opportunity that offers a chance to grow professionally and advance within the company. As a Valet Parking Team Lead, you will be responsible for creating a positive first impression and ensuring a seamless outstanding experience for our guests. This involves providing excellent customer service and safely and efficiently managing valet parking services.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival, and assist with the check-in and check-out process, providing information about the hotel's amenities.
  • Safely handle guests' luggage, transporting it to and from rooms promptly, and offer assistance with carrying luggage and provide information about room features.
  • Collaborate with the valet parking team to ensure a smooth and efficient parking and retrieval process for guests' vehicles, and safely drive and park vehicles, adhering to company and safety standards.
  • Provide information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions, and respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with the front desk, concierge, and other departments to ensure coordinated guest services, and relay important information about guest preferences and special requests.
  • Monitor the entrance area for any suspicious activity and report concerns promptly, and adhere to safety and security procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and their belongings.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
  • Capability to run, retrieve vehicles, and lift luggage up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to use personal cell phone for work purposes.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Physical ability to lift and transport luggage, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
