Position: Procurement Specialist

Role Summary

The Procurement Specialist will take charge of sourcing immediate purchase requests and managing inventory levels within a production supply area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and respond to customer requirements
  • Evaluate and select suppliers to fulfill requested goods, ensuring compliance with standards such as pricing, quantity, quality, and delivery timelines
  • Oversee inventory management
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction
  • Address and resolve procurement issues with suppliers

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • Familiarity with procurement and supply chain methodologies
  • Understanding of materials, products, and market trends relevant to the role
  • Ability to prepare and assess detailed technical specifications and proposals
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Experience with SAP is advantageous
  • Proven sourcing capabilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications
