Role Summary

The Procurement Specialist will play a crucial role in sourcing immediate purchase requests and maintaining stock levels for inventory items within a production supply area.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate customer requirements
• Identify and select suppliers to fulfill requested materials, ensuring compliance with criteria such as pricing, quantity, quality, and delivery timelines
• Oversee inventory management
• Implement cost-saving strategies
• Address and resolve procurement issues with suppliers

Candidate Profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Familiarity with procurement and supply chain methodologies
• Understanding of materials, products, and market trends relevant to the site
• Ability to prepare and evaluate complex technical specifications and proposals
• Exceptional customer service abilities
• Experience with SAP is preferred
• Proven sourcing experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility in approach
• Basic proficiency in MS Office applications
