Job Summary

The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for achieving reliable equipment and manufacturing systems to prevent failures, maximize operational performance and throughput, optimize cost, and extend asset lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Manage Spare Parts Inventory Management systems to minimize downtime and optimize inventory levels.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of KAMS (Kerry Asset Maintenance System) process and tools to improve maintenance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing site team to implement and execute their Maintenance Excellence Program.
  • Develop and maintain Best maintenance practices and standards to ensure compliance and excellence.
  • Support Plant shutdown preparation and planning to ensure seamless operations.
  • Lead and collaborate with site team to define Asset Criticality and Reliability Maintenance strategies.
  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to optimize cost, identify gaps, and improve asset performance.
  • Lead and support analysis of equipment and systems failures, using problem-solving, continuous improvement tools, and physical testing.
  • Support project teams during equipment selection and defining Preventative/Predictive Maintenance strategies for new assets.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to develop and evaluate MRO suppliers and 3rd party maintenance service providers.
  • Support other functions with Maintenance and Reliability related inquiries and expertise.
  • Maintain and deploy a broad knowledge of industry trends and new technology innovation in Maintenance and Reliability to enhance Kerry manufacturing and operational capabilities.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in engineering, reliability, maintenance, or related field.
  • Practical experience in Continuous Improvement methodology and tools.
  • Manufacturing background in Food & Beverage or Chemical industries.
  • Professional certification as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred.
  • Comfortable working on the factory floor.
Compensation and Benefits

The typical hiring range for this role is $62,000 to $92,000 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
