Job Title: Medical Surgical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at Sierra Medical Center. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients on the Medical Surgical Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Nevada nursing license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • One year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
