About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit at Sierra Medical Center. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care accordingly
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements
  • Current NV nursing license
  • Current BLS certificate
  • ACLS certificate
  • One year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred
