Medical Surgical Nurse

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical-Telemetry Unit at Sierra Medical Center. As a per diem RN, you will have the opportunity to work a convenient night shift schedule and provide safe and high-quality care to our patients.
About the Role:This is a per diem opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work on our Medical Surgical-Telemetry Unit. The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical surgical nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and excellence by identifying and reporting safety concerns and participating in safety initiatives.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current Nevada nursing license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred.
