Role Summary:

In this senior-level capacity, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive building enclosure and waterproofing services, overseeing and managing your own projects. This role entails establishing and nurturing relationships with both local and national clients, acting as the primary liaison for projects associated with new constructions and existing structures. Key responsibilities include leading team efforts on forensic investigations, evaluations, condition assessments, and the formulation of waterproofing designs, as well as supervising the creation of construction documents and specifications.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a variety of building envelope projects from investigation through to construction administration.
  • Draft proposals and detailed scopes of work for various projects.
  • Guide the development of building envelope contract documents, including technical specifications.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections and compile evaluation reports.
  • Perform peer reviews of enclosure details and specifications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in building envelope and waterproofing, with at least 5 years in project management within California and neighboring states.
  • Professional licensure in architecture, structural engineering, or civil engineering.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Proven track record in developing client relationships and marketing strategies.
  • Extensive knowledge of various building enclosure systems, materials, and products.
  • Experience in new construction building envelope design and technical analysis of existing structures.
  • Familiarity with ASTM & AAMA standards and testing procedures, along with experience in compiling response packages for RFQ/RFP requests.
