Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our team at the Aftercare Evening Reporting Center. This role requires a deep understanding of the juvenile justice system, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized service plans for each youth
  • Foster positive relationships with youth, their family, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with probation officers, court officials, and other professionals to ensure successful outcomes

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in human services, preferably social work or counseling, plus two years' experience in family-based social work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to develop positive relationships with youth and other stakeholders
