Technical Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Specialist to support our customers and sales team with technical product and domain know-how. This role requires a customer-focused individual who can design cost-efficient, technically feasible solutions based on our products capabilities and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will be able to understand customer technical requirements and define solutions that accurately address those needs. They will present technical solutions to customers, prepare associated white papers and proposals, and coordinate with sales, offer management, engineering, project management, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design technical solutions that solve customer problems
  • Responsible for solution cost
  • Secure input from required stakeholders within the customer's organization and adapt company solutions as necessary
  • Develop solutions with the customer, the sales team, in coordination with product management
  • Proactively assemble the technical solution required to address customer requirements and deliver technical customer presentations and demonstrations articulately and confidently
  • Prepare technical solution description and feasibility studies
  • Analyze competitor solutions and provide vital input to our product teams to develop our solution further
  • Coordinate closely with offer management and engineering to align solution design with customers' requirements and Client standard offerings
  • Coordinate all information and project requirements to engineering and program management personnel for accurate implementation
  • Respond to tender documents, write proposals, reports, white papers and other documents
  • Prioritize efforts based on maximizing team productivity and profit
  • Contribute actively to the definition of new Client product features

Requirements:

  • Four year college degree from an accredited institution
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar role
  • Strong IT (hardware and software) technology background
  • Ability to learn array of company products, services and system architectures adequately to apply to customer goals and requirements
  • Excellent presentation and technical writing skills
  • Domestic and occasional international travel required
  • Prior domain knowledge
