Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Multicraft Technician to join our team at Magna Services. As a key member of our assembly department, you will be responsible for troubleshooting systems, performing preventive and predictive maintenance on various equipment, and ensuring the highest level of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including robots, PLC, controls, electrical, and other systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Support lean manufacturing processes and suggest improvements to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Safety and Quality: Maintain the integrity of safety devices and ensure compliance with plant safety standards.
- Training and Development: Train operators and new team members on equipment and processes.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree from a technical college or minimum of three years on-the-job training with heavy industrial manufacturing facility in skilled trade capacity.
- Technical Training: Journeyman Certification preferred; general knowledge of industrial maintenance with an emphasis on electrical, mechanical, robotics, or controls application.
- Experience: Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; minimum of 4 years experience.
