Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Multicraft Technician to join our team at Magna International. As a key member of our assembly department, you will be responsible for troubleshooting systems, performing preventive and predictive maintenance on various equipment, and ensuring the highest level of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including robots, PLCs, and electrical systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of maintenance activities.
- Train operators and new team members on equipment and processes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree from a technical college or minimum of three years on-the-job training with heavy industrial manufacturing facility in skilled trade capacity.
- Journeyman Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in maintenance or a related field.
