Job Summary
Schnuck Markets, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Customer Service Manager. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supervising checkers and baggers, and ensuring the efficient operation of the store's customer service department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Supervise checkers and baggers to maximize efficiency and productivity in the checkout process.
- Take on the duties of the Customer Service Manager when they are not on-site, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
- Write schedules for baggers, checkers, and other customer service personnel to ensure proper coverage during all business hours.
- Perform all service center duties, including utility payments, lottery, cash drawer audits, and store safe management.
- Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.
Training and Development
Training will be provided at the store level to ensure the successful completion of job responsibilities.
Physical Demands
The Assistant Customer Service Manager must be able to:
Bend and stoop to perform tasks as needed.Lift up to 25 pounds.Work on their feet for extended periods (4-8 hours).Additional Requirements
- Internal candidates must have a minimum of six months' employment with Schnuck Markets, Inc.
- Store/Facility Teammates must be in good standing and have manager approval based on performance.
