Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Support Specialist to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our store by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-merchandised store, and supporting various operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a well-merchandised store, including receiving and processing merchandise, managing inventory, and ensuring visual standards are met.
  • Support cash handling and reconciliation processes, including processing transactions and managing cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and processing merchandise, managing inventory levels, and conducting cycle counts.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Support store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
  • Previous retail and cash handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
