Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Service: Welcome members to the credit union, provide routine information, and direct them to the appropriate department for specific information and service.
  • Transaction Processing: Process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and balance inquiries, while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Sales and Cross-Selling: Proactively identify opportunities to sell credit union products and services to members, and refer them to relevant partners as needed.
  • Account Maintenance: Accurately maintain member accounts, including opening new accounts, processing payroll deductions, and filing maintenance.
  • Confidentiality and Security: Maintain the confidentiality of member accounts and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and the Uniform Commercial Code.
Requirements
  • Education: Equivalent of a four-year high school education.
  • Experience: 1+ years of sales and productivity experience, with cash handling experience preferred.
  • Skills: Basic mathematical skills, ability to type and use general office machines, and knowledge of MSR/Teller procedures and credit union philosophy.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, requiring occasional travel and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to effectively interact with all personality types, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
