About the Role

VNA Health Group is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Orange, New Jersey.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to our home health patients in South Orange, West Orange, and Newark.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate clients for physical therapy needs and develop personalized plans of action in collaboration with physicians.
  • Document all changes in client condition and update care plans and outcomes accordingly.
  • Identify counseling needs and plan appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Monitor quality and appropriateness of services provided.
  • Adhere to agency infection control and safety policies.
  • Meet the organization's policy regarding absenteeism and appearance.
Requirements
  • Physical Therapy Licensure in NJ is required.
  • 2-3 years of prior clinical experience and community-based experience are preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • A valid NJ driver's license is required.
Working Conditions

Working indoors and outdoors, driving, lifting, sitting, standing, walking, fine motor hand movement, and using a phone and tablet for documentation are required.
