Position Overview:

The Financial Executive Leader at NCF will collaborate closely with the CEO and the Board of Directors, overseeing the financial operations. With $8B in Assets Under Management and an annual revenue of around $90M, the Financial Executive Leader will spearhead financial stewardship in this unique non-profit foundation. Responsibilities include team management, decision-making influence, and strategic planning to drive ministry growth.

Position Description:

  • Provide organizational and spiritual leadership in the finance function;
  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team to drive operational excellence;
  • Innovate financial operations and economic model;
  • Participate in strategic planning and value-creation initiatives;
  • Deliver data-driven decision-making through financial metrics and analytics;
  • Lead financial planning, analysis, and risk management;
  • Oversee tax-related issues and financial reporting;
  • Exemplify Christ-centered leadership and foster a culture of integrity and transparency.

Experience and Skills:

Character:

  • Excited about applying executive financial leadership in a non-profit focused on stewardship;
  • Strong ability to listen, learn, and lead towards innovation.

Business:

  • Finance, accounting, or business administration degree, MBA preferred, CPA license required;
  • Prior CFO or senior financial leader experience in financial services or non-profit organizations;
  • Analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and strategic mindset;
  • Track record of managing top-tier teams and developing financial talent;
  • Expertise in finance, planning, and analytics for a data-driven organization;
  • Experience in ensuring strong financial controls and operational finance;
