Position Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring our products meet both legal and corporate compliance standards efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Drafting Safety Data Sheets and creating regulatory labeling materials.
- Verifying product compliance with a range of regulatory requirements from international to local levels.
- Utilizing company systems to relay regulatory assessment results to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage regulatory documentation and data.
- Consulting with Senior Product Stewardship Specialists to address and resolve compliance issues.
- Expanding your knowledge in technical and regulatory matters pertinent to Durable Goods.
- Responding to inquiries related to product stewardship and regulatory affairs.
- Carrying out additional tasks or projects as required.
- Complying with Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, and company-specific safety protocols.
Candidate Profile:
This position is offered under a V.I.E. contract for a duration of 18 months, with specific eligibility criteria mandated by Business France. Candidates must be European citizens, hold a postgraduate degree, and be under 29 years of age.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field such as Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, Toxicology, or Environmental Science.
- Preferred prior experience in product stewardship or regulatory affairs.
- A strong understanding of reactive (polymer) chemistries.
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous, along with proficiency in MS Office.
- A quick aptitude for learning new tools, systems, and data relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, including R&D, Product Line Managers, and Customer Service.
- A self-motivated approach to managing tasks, goals, and projects with minimal supervision.
- Professional proficiency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus.
