Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Professional II to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. This individual will be responsible for coordinating multiple research projects and clinical research programs, serving as a resource for research study participants, families, and healthcare providers, and maintaining oversight for national benchmarking databases and performance improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, develop, and revise research protocols and prepare materials for approval
  • Prepare and negotiate study budgets, track account activity, and resolve discrepancies
  • Facilitate inspections and audits, develop QA schedules, and perform QA activities
  • Manage collecting and recording subject data on case report forms, create databases, and manage data entry
  • Lead others in using clinical processes and teaching/learning principles to provide subject/family education and develop education tools/materials
  • Coordinate and collect requested data for sponsor review during site visits, assist study monitors in chart and case report form review, and maintain files and study documentation according to institutional and regulatory standards
  • Provide oversight for the orientation/precepting program, lead training, and monitor process of preceptors, promote mentoring relationships, and lead community teaching
  • Lead performance improvement and research activities
