Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Professional II to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. This individual will be responsible for coordinating multiple research projects and clinical research programs, serving as a resource for research study participants, families, and healthcare providers, and maintaining oversight for national benchmarking databases and performance improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate multiple research projects and clinical research programs
  • Serve as a resource for research study participants, families, and healthcare providers
  • Maintain oversight for national benchmarking databases and performance improvement activities
  • Assess, develop, and revise research protocols and prepare materials for approval
  • Prepare and negotiate study budgets and track account activity
  • Facilitate inspections and audits, and develop QA schedules and improvement plans
  • Manage collecting and recording subject data on case report forms and create databases and manage data entry
  • Lead others to use the clinical process and teaching/learning principles to provide subject/family education and develop education tools/materials
  • Coordinate and collect requested data for sponsor review during site visits and assist study monitors in chart and case report form review
  • Maintain files and study documentation according to institutional and regulatory standards
  • Provide oversight for the orientation/precepting program and lead training and monitoring process of preceptors
  • Lead performance improvement and research activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification
