Banquet Setup Professional Job Description

We are seeking an experienced banquet setup professional to join our team at Wilshire Caterers-NJ. This role is responsible for preparing and setting up tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment for events like weddings, meetings, and parties.

About the Role

The banquet setup professional will work closely with our events team to ensure that all aspects of events are executed flawlessly, from planning and preparation to execution and follow-up. This person will be responsible for ensuring that the venue is clean, well-maintained, and meets the event requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up tables, chairs, linens, and other equipment for events
  • Ensure the venue is clean and well-maintained
  • Oversee the atmosphere during events
  • Respond to changes at the request of the client
  • Perform cleaning duties after the event has ended
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Verifiable experience in catering and banquet setup
  • A strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
