Job Title: Senior Environmental Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Manager to join our team at Peter Kiewit Sons'. As a key member of our Environmental Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain programs and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Supervise environmental processes and address potential violations and concerns.
  • Develop and implement environmental monitoring and management programs.
  • Assist in obtaining and maintaining environmental permits.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations management to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Oversee the drafting and preparation of permit applications and renewals.
  • Participate in environmental issue investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement environmental training programs.
Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in environmental compliance for major transportation construction projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, biology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of industry experience in environmental compliance.
  • CPESC Certification and ISO 14000 certifications are a plus.
