Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Landmark Hospital of SW Florida is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to enhance our professional healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a vital resource across various patient care settings, maintaining frequent interaction with patients, often in critical situations.
  • Engage in emergency response teams, participate in formulating patient care strategies, and execute various invasive therapeutic procedures.
  • Administer respiratory medications and manage therapeutic medical gases effectively.
  • Analyze vital signs and physiological changes, responding appropriately to any pathological developments.
  • Monitor patient equipment and respond to changes in patient conditions with appropriate interventions.
  • Exercise independent judgment in numerous clinical tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) License in Florida.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting, with a preference for critical care experience.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
