Role Summary: The ideal candidate will possess the expertise and skills necessary to provide a wide range of respiratory care and treatment responsibilities within the scope of Respiratory Therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a vital resource across all patient care areas, maintaining frequent interactions with patients, often in critical situations.
- Engage in Code Blue teams and rapid response initiatives, develop patient care strategies, and execute various invasive procedures.
- Administer respiratory medications and therapeutic gases effectively.
- Assess the interconnections between vital signs, physiological functions, and pathological changes, taking appropriate actions based on analysis.
- Monitor patient equipment related to pathopsychological activity and respond as necessary.
- Utilize independent judgment in various tasks.
Qualifications:
- Valid RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) License in Florida.
- At least one year of experience in a hospital setting, with a preference for critical care experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
