Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Shoreline, WA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities to develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and work.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create personalized plans to address clients' specific needs and goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Provide Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver occupational therapy services in individual or group settings to help clients develop skills and strategies for daily living, work, and leisure activities.
  • Monitor Progress and Adjust Plans: Regularly assess clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with healthcare professionals, educators, and other therapists to ensure coordinated care and support for clients.
  • Educate Clients and Families: Provide training and guidance to clients, families, and caregivers on strategies and exercises to enhance daily living skills and independence.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy: Earned from an accredited program.
  • Current Licensure: Valid occupational therapy license in Washington State.
  • Previous Clinical Experience: Preferred, but new graduates with relevant clinical practicum experience will be considered.
  • Strong Clinical Skills: Excellent assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to effectively engage with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to Work Independently and Collaboratively: Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively within a supportive team environment.
