Receptionist - On Call

Job Summary:

This is an on-call position at CRISTA Senior Living, Cristwood Park in Shoreline, WA. The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting residents and visitors, answering phones, and providing administrative support to the team.

• Respond to resident pull cords and smoke alarms, and handle or refer as appropriate.
• Answer phones in a courteous and professional manner and route calls as necessary.
• Meet and/or refer all needs presented to them, such as copying, faxing, and scheduling guest apartments.
• Collaborate with the HIPAA Privacy Officer to maintain confidentiality regulations at the reception desk.
• Record, coordinate, and track maintenance requests.
• Provide administrative support to the Administrator, Business Office Manager, and Admissions Coordinator.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a receptionist or customer service representative.
• Light typing and ability to respond to emergencies in a calm manner.
• First Aid and CPR training (may be acquired within one month of employment).

• Enjoy working with seniors.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with seniors in a positive, courteous, and professional manner.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and maintain detailed, neat, and accurate documentation.
