Overview

ECG Management Consultants, a leading healthcare consulting firm, is seeking a seasoned professional to join our Medical Group Optimization (MGO) Division. As a Senior Manager or Associate Principal, you will play a critical role in driving alignment and sustainability for medical groups and hospitals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead engagements and assume ultimate responsibility for high-quality client deliverables.
  • Work with clients to articulate complex issues requiring attention and strategize with consultant teams on project approaches.
  • Lead project teams by executing work plans, providing direction, timelines, and budget management, and facilitating data-gathering and problem-solving processes.
  • Lead meetings and presentations for client leadership.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of recommended solutions.
  • Coach and mentor staff, write and deliver performance reviews, and assist in recruiting new consultants.
  • Contribute to firm growth by identifying and pursuing follow-on and new business opportunities.
  • Manage the preparation of complex proposals.
  • Establish and share thought leadership and deep subject matter expertise.
  • Be a leader within the firm and contribute to the firm's culture and success.
Requirements
  • Seven to eight years of progressive experience consulting to healthcare providers and serving hospitals and health systems.
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated record of solving complex problems, directing and managing individuals, and completing challenging projects.
  • Track record of managing multiple engagements, including work plans, deliverables, budgets, and schedules, and accounts receivable.
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in selling and managing engagements.
  • Recognized as a thought leader through marketing activities such as networking with potential clients, participating in professional societies, and publishing and presenting thought leadership.
  • Demonstrated focus on staff development, coaching, and retention, with a refined ability to provide constructive and timely feedback.
  • Master's degree in business administration and/or a health-related field; bachelor's degree in business or a health-related field preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time.
Location

Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, San Diego, Seattle, St. Louis, or Washington, DC. Washington, DC preferred.
