Job Summary:

The Operations Supervisor is a key role in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned practices, departments, and/or programs. This individual will work closely with the Operations Manager to develop business and operations plans, manage budgets, and ensure the smooth operation of facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business and operations plans for assigned areas, programs, and services.
  • Manage budgets, including budget preparation, expense control, and revenue improvement.
  • Maintain facilities, including planning space allocations, layouts, and floor moves, and arranging for and supervising building maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements for clinical records.
  • Manage equipment, including planning procurement and maintenance, and evaluating products, services, and warranties.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to establish patient care processes and workflows.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new workflows, processes, programs, and technologies.
  • Ensure quality control programs are in place and partner with risk, quality, and clinical services departments to monitor and improve clinical services.
  • Supervise all employees in areas of oversight, including administrative, clinical, and technician staff.
  • Partner with facilities management, patient billing, utilization management, quality, risk, human resources, and payroll departments.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree or progress toward completion preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years medical office experience, preferably in a multi-specialty medical group setting, previous medical office management and/or supervisory experience, or equivalent education and experience required.
