Your Role: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Southeast Region CQV Services Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Commissioning and Qualification (C&Q) and Project Management. The ideal candidate will possess a background in consulting or operational roles within the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industries, along with Engineering and/or Validation experience.

This position involves business development responsibilities in collaboration with our Business Development Director, as well as personnel management and the cultivation of customer relationships. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential for this rewarding role, which offers numerous opportunities for professional growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify growth opportunities and strategic goals.
  • Utilize technical and business acumen to pinpoint potential targets aligned with business needs.
  • Ensure profitable financial performance while managing safety, compliance, and technical oversight.
  • Lead project teams and maintain primary client relationships, regularly reporting on client satisfaction and concerns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through industry events and professional organizations.
  • Evaluate incoming opportunities for strategic alignment and execute plans as necessary.
  • Support the recruiting team in identifying resource needs.
  • Organize teams for due diligence and execute assigned tasks.
  • Provide strategic planning support to business leaders, acting as an advisor and thought partner.
  • Assess business potential and investment risks for growth opportunities.
  • Foster teamwork within and beyond the team to drive functional success.
  • Mentor and engage team members, integrating best practices into operations.
  • Maintain project cost levels to ensure profitability and report on competitive contract services sales efforts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and support the development and retention of talent.
  • Organize training programs for staff across the region.
  • Uphold company standards of excellence and service quality.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team for large event planning.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new team members.
  • Participate in local trade shows and industry events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of industry experience.
  • Experience in business development is a plus, particularly in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive actionable results.
  • Competence in analysis related to new contracts and resource investments.
  • Strong collaborative skills to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong mathematical skills for tracking regional profitability.
  • Proven ability to motivate team members and assist in their success.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage large volumes of information.
  • Excellent customer service skills, particularly in conflict resolution.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; proficiency in MS Office.
  • Openness to new ideas and perspectives.
  • Experience working with highly technical teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in a technical field such as computer science, engineering, or biology.
  • Relevant professional experience in the Life Sciences industry, particularly in Validation, Commissioning, and Qualification.
