Clinical Services Regional Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Develops and enforces policies and procedures for clinical services within assigned communities, ensuring alignment with established goals and standards.
- Evaluates the execution of current policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with both corporate and external regulatory requirements. Stays informed on new regulatory changes and implements necessary adjustments.
- Oversees the Quality Improvement Process, Standards of Care, and Clinical Indicator Reports, providing regular updates to the Regional Operations Director.
- Addresses resident complaints and concerns as directed, ensuring compliance with resident rights and working towards effective resolutions.
- Conducts compliance and quality assessments at various communities, assisting in the formulation of action plans to mitigate risks identified during surveys.
- Engages in State and Federal surveys and compliance investigations, providing support and guidance throughout the process.
- Collaborates with communities to identify trends and develop corrective action plans, reporting significant findings to the Regional Operations Director.
- Collects performance improvement metrics and survey data to identify patterns, working with leadership to create Plans of Corrective Action.
- Schedules regular site visits to offer supervision, clinical insight, and to monitor the overall functionality of the clinical services department.
Supervisory Duties: Provides leadership and direction to community Executive Directors and Clinical Services Directors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents. Supervisory responsibilities are carried out in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in good standing.
- A minimum of five years of management experience in a healthcare setting.
- Previous experience as a Director of Nursing is preferred, with regional experience being an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of care standards and practices relevant to geriatric service delivery.
- Five to seven years of experience in long-term care is preferred.
