Acro Service Corp is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to exacting tolerances, selecting and aligning specialized machine attachments and tooling, and planning the sequence of operations and determining speeds, feeds, and depth of cut.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate milling machines to machine parts to exacting tolerances
- Select and align specialized machine attachments and tooling
- Plan the sequence of operations and determine speeds, feeds, and depth of cut
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to ensure accurate machining
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify quality and accuracy
- Make standard shop computations and lay out stock for machining
- Monitor and verify quality to ensure compliance with company standards
Requirements:
Completion of formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining principles and practices, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
