Job Summary

PhyNet Dermatology LLC (External) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Support Associate to join our team. As a Medical Support Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dermatology physicians in their daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical assistance to dermatology physicians, including rooming patients, updating patient medical histories, and documenting reason for visit and history of present illness.
  • Assist physicians with office procedures, including biopsies, surgeries, and treatments for various skin conditions.
  • Handle front office duties, including processing RX refills and submitting prior authorizations.
  • Operate Narrowband and photodynamic therapy units, fill liquid nitrogen containers, and clean and stock patient examination rooms and supply areas.
  • Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 0-3 years of medical assistant experience, preferably in dermatology
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
