Position: Human Resources Manager

Overview:
  • Oversee the HR function to align initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Administer a wide array of HR operations including performance evaluation, compensation structures, training programs, compliance measures, and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Report directly to the President while collaborating with the HR team across EMCOR Government Services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive HR support throughout the employment lifecycle, including recruitment, compensation, employee relations, training, and benefits management.
  • Develop and execute strategic recruitment initiatives.
  • Facilitate employee training and professional development opportunities.
  • Address employee relations issues and conduct workplace investigations as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain job documentation, salary structures, and benefits administration.
  • Recommend and coordinate training programs.
  • Identify and implement HR process enhancements.
  • Provide guidance on organizational policies and procedures.
  • Administer collective bargaining agreements effectively.
  • Work in-office to provide direct HR support and foster collaboration.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in Human Resources Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR.
  • Experience in the service or construction sector is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings and events.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation and compliance.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
  • HR certification is a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The role may require occasional lifting and moving of items up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities may be necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position operates within a standard office setting with a moderate noise level.
