Job SummaryThis PRN position is designed to fill in as needed on weekends, providing flexibility and support to our team.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Current licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- One year of experience in Speech-Language Pathology, preferably in an inpatient acute care setting.
