Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Current licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Texas.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • One year of experience in Speech-Language Pathology, preferably in an inpatient acute care setting.
