Job Summary

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and rehabilitating patients of all ages with communication and oral-pharyngeal disorders of functional or neurological origin. Your goal will be to facilitate the development and maintenance of human communication and swallowing ability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with communication and oral-pharyngeal disorders and develop comprehensive plans to address their needs.
  • Implement treatment programs to improve patients' communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Current licensure to practice speech-language pathology in Texas.
  • Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • At least two years of experience working with patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
