Job SummaryAs a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and rehabilitating patients of all ages with communication and oral-pharyngeal disorders of functional or neurological origin. Your goal will be to facilitate the development and maintenance of human communication and swallowing ability.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients with communication and oral-pharyngeal disorders and develop comprehensive plans to address their needs.
- Implement treatment programs to improve patients' communication and swallowing abilities.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
- Current licensure to practice speech-language pathology in Texas.
- Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- At least two years of experience working with patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
