As a Hospice Aide/CNA, you will provide essential personal care services to support patients in their homes, promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, as assigned by the Case Manager.

• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light laundry needs.

• Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, as ordered by the hospice nurse or therapist.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide respectful communication techniques.

• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Meet the training requirements of the State, including a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training.

• Possess a minimum of six months of experience in providing personal care services.

• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, families, and caregivers.

• Maintain current CPR certification and adhere to the organization's documentation and care procedures.
