Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at MeadowView Health Services. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the assigned Nurse Supervisor, this position performs resident/patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents/patients as assigned. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with feeding, toileting, and transferring patients
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the Nurse Supervisor
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
  • Able to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents/patients, families, volunteers, and other center staff
  • Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about, working with long-term care residents/patients and the elderly
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Meets all health requirements, as required by law
