Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced Physician Assistants to perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and manage the treatment of mental health conditions, including detailed evaluations and medication management.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide ongoing management of medications and psychotherapy as part of the treatment process.
- Collaborate with our Medical Director and multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated and patient-centered care.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, as well as internal company policies.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of industry advancements and best practices.
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant.
- Valid and unrestricted PA license in the state of Iowa.
- Experience or strong interest in psychiatric and mental health care, with solid skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused and empathetic approach.
