Job Summary

Plains Area Mental Health, Inc. is a Community Mental Health Center with a mission to provide affordable quality mental health services to the communities we serve. We are seeking a full-time Psychotherapist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a related field and be licensed to practice as a therapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing clients, providing education to schools and communities, and performing psychotherapy and brief counseling. They will also be required to complete documentation and assist with grant writing and quality assurance activities.

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,849 to $78,000, depending on licensure, experience, and work hours chosen. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, and a 401k retirement plan with a 5% company match.

Responsibilities
  • Assess clients through diagnostic interviews and provide education to schools and communities
  • Perform psychotherapy and brief counseling
  • Complete documentation and assist with grant writing and quality assurance activities
  • Interact with teachers, school counselors, and administration to consult on cases and education
  • Refer clients to other programs and services as needed
Requirements
