About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Services Specialist to join our Financial Markets Operations team at Standard Chartered Bank. The successful candidate will work closely with the Client Services Manager - Americas and other team members to drive origination, develop strong client relationships, and provide exceptional service to our clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all client queries and escalations are resolved promptly and efficiently. They will work closely with the sales Financial Market Operations team and client services team in the hub to provide the best possible service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service Delivery: Ensure a consistently high level of service delivery to our clients and stakeholders.
  • Client Query Resolution: Be the key contact/point of escalation for client queries/escalations.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Become an internal subject matter expert for other client service staff.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with sales desk, operations, and other internal stakeholders to provide exceptional service to our clients.
  • Customer Feedback and Complaints: Actively capture voice of customer feedbacks and follow up on actions identified. Record and manage customer complaints through resolution.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years' experience in Financial Markets.
  • Knowledge: Financial Markets Products as well as Financial Markets Operations knowledge.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Fully understand the Financial Market Operations (FMO) business strategy and leadership expectations. Expertise in prioritising queries regarding how to handle any premium clients. Demonstrated knowledge in objective judgement when dealing with conflicts due to prioritisation.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Experience in managing complex client service scenarios as well as knowledge in how to identify process to resolve.
