About You:

As a Senior Mammography/X-Ray Technician at Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC), you are poised to elevate your expertise in mammography. You thrive on the prospect of mentoring and guiding your colleagues to achieve excellence in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Center Manager to ensure clarity in scheduling, patient preparations, and physician directives.
  • Oversee daily operations in Mammography/X-Ray, which includes:
    • Planning for additional service days as necessary.
    • Allocating extra time for equipment downtime.
    • Modifying schedules as required.
    • Maintaining precise records related to quality assurance, equipment upkeep, and other pertinent areas.
    • Engaging in the recruitment and selection process.
  • Conduct Mammography/X-Ray examinations.
  • Adopt a patient-focused approach, delivering Mammography services with professionalism and outstanding customer care.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Mammography/X-Ray.
  • In-depth understanding of Quality Assurance protocols.
  • ARRT certification in RT (R) is mandatory.
  • Active Virginia RT license is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
