Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Terracon. As a key member of our geotechnical engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on a wide range of projects, including geotechnical investigations, engineering analysis, and design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and/or supervise geotechnical investigations, including field testing and laboratory analysis.
  • Develop and implement geotechnical design solutions for various projects, including transportation, commercial, and industrial developments.
  • Collaborate with senior-level project managers and professional engineers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and other project-related documents.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong background in soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and geotechnical design.
  • Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) certification is required.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history.
